We gals love clothes… and makeup! I am excited that we serve a God who cares about these things. God knows we want to feel good about the way we look. He designed us that way as females. I love that about Him! When I was growing up, I was always so jazzed to get the new fashion magazines each month to find out what was new, what was “in” and what everyone was wearing for the upcoming season. It inspired me.
Sadly, today’s fashion magazines show us half naked models and expect us to wear these clothes to school or to the mall. . . ugghh! I have to wonder what prompted the trend of guys letting their pants hang lower than their boxers. (Must have been Fruit of the Loom!) Who decided this look was “in?” Seriously?!
I don’t know about you but I don’t want to walk around with my underwear showing. I don’t want to worry about my low-rise jeans and where they land on my hips. Worse yet – I don’t want some guy staring at me because of the clothes I’m wearing.
Here’s the thing. . . you DON’T have to conform! Modesty doesn’t mean boring! You can stand up and stand out. I’m going to show you how to be ahead of the fashion trends.
