Good news! You don't need a wad of cash to make a fashion statement this fall. The fall fashion forecast says it's all in the details. The accessories have it and the trend is vintage jewelry and other great accessories.
So for the price of high tailing it to your mom's closet or maybe your grandmother's attic you can be in fashion, high fashion even. Now isn't that great?
Let's start with the jewels. Bangle bracelets
of all shapes and sizes are in and one of the best places to shop is your mom or even your grandmother's jewelry box. If you can't find what you need there, head to the local thrift store to find the goods.
Unique necklaces are also hot! If yours isn't unique enough, layer several necklaces of different lengths to create an interesting look. It's even okay to combine different metals and even pearls to create a look all its own. Bigger is better, at least that's what they say when it comes to ear wear. Earrings are big and bold this season.
The same vintage trend is true when it comes to belts and footwear – the oldies but goodies still reign. So grab a belt either chunky and wide or slim and sleek and sport it atop your favorite top to create a cinched waistline.
As for the feet, classic long lasting styles are in again. Mary-janes, knee high boots, and classic stilettos are what you'll find. As for colors, choosing classic colors, as well as blacks and browns, is the way to go.
Put all these looks together to help you create a fall accessories collection that is sure to please.

Alyssa’s Bio
I'm excited to be writing for the Fashion Column here at Radical Revolution! You will also notice a devotion written by me on Mondays from time to time.
I thought it would be fun to give you a little more info about me so that you girls could get to know me better. I am Alyssa Avant, and I have a ministry to girls, Beauty by Design Ministries (http://beautybydesignonline.com), where I go to churches, clubs, and other organizations and speak to tween and teen girls on the topics of beauty, modesty, and fashion. I also write for several magazines and blogs on these and other topics.
I actually have a background in fashion. In my teen years I was given the opportunity to attend modeling school, and then became a modeling instructor and later a New Faces Agent with the agency. During the time I was modeling as a teen, I spent all my earnings on what else? New clothes!
After having my first child, I put the modeling days behind me and began my ministry to girls, but of course I still love fashion. If you took a peak in my closet today you'd find my favorite pair of jeans is Old Navy's The Flirt. You’d also find a ton of shoes (I'm a bit of a shoe and purse nut) and a lot of pink (my favorite color). My favorite place to shop is New York & Company, and though they might not always be stylish, I'm a flip flop fanatic.
Some other random facts about me are: I'm addicted to Coca Cola Classic, I love to blog (I have several blogs), I am 5'10” tall, I have 3 children, and I live in the middle of a cow pasture.
I look forward to getting to know you all and sharing some fashion facts and fun with you!
Blessings,
