Okay, so who doesn’t love a sweet deal?!? With the economy as it is right now, we all could stand to save some money. Have you ever thought about using coupons or following store sales to buy you favorite beauty products? This can save you (or your parents) lots of money over time.

We went on a search for some great discounts and deals to share with you for your favorite beauty products, however without much success. The reality is that not many health and beauty companies offer coupons or great sales on their products, especially if the company is well-known and a product is a customer favorite. Even so, there are some things you can do to save some money on your beauty products.

Here are some tips on how to get the biggest bang for your buck:

-->Be willing to use a less known brand. Using the most well-known and most expensive brands does not always mean you’re getting the best deal for your money. In many cases, the less expensive and less known brands are just as good and cost you much less.

-->Use your products sparingly. Be conscious of the amount you use and only use what you need.

-->Watch for sales & coupons. Occasionally you’ll run across a really good deal, but you have to be looking for it.

Where can you find coupons and special sales?

*In your mailbox – Some stores will send out sale papers and coupons to your house from time to time.

*In your Sunday newspaper – You might have to pay a couple bucks to get a Sunday newspaper, but you’ll get your money back in the money you save using the coupons inside. You can find coupons on all kinds of beauty items, including makeup, hair care, and skin care products.

*Online – Some stores that specialize in beauty products offer free online coupons that you can print and take with you, like
Sally Beauty Supply. Also, the websites of your favorite brands may feature special coupons and promotions, for example: Bath & Body Works and L’Oreal.

The key to saving money with special promotions and coupons is to not purchase items that you wouldn’t typically purchase or use. It’s tempting to buy something just because you have a coupon for it or because it’s on sale, but it’s not saving you money if the item is something you may not use.

-->Ask for your favorite products as birthday or Christmas gifts. If you absolutely must have the more expensive products, this is a good way to get them without shelling out the money from your allowance or savings account.

Now go find some good deals and save some money, girlfriend!
