The song by Kool and the Gang. Just kidding. I think of summer as it is a celebration of all that vastness of God’s love. All the bounty of fruits, vegetables, flowers, wildlife and wonder in nature makes me want to celebrate during the summer season. His love lavishes us beyond belief!

What’s a quote that inspires you?
"Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you." I love this quote because sometimes I feel boastful in the things that I am doing for God — I worry about what people think about or how it will make them feel. It reminds me to be strong and courageous in my good works and not worry if it makes people feel insecure in all that I am going after for Him.
