Do you ever struggle making Jesus your first priority? Why do you think that is?

Hey Friend,

Can you relate to this struggle...when you don't feel like spending time with God? Why do you think that is?

I'd like to hear your thoughts...

Hey Ms.Lynn,
I can relate to this a the begining of the year I made it my new years revolutions to have daily devotion and lately I have been puttin them off. I feel guilty but still keep putting them off. Is there a good time of day to have them?

Lauren,

When I was your age, I used to head up to my room a little early to read my Bible. The thing that really helped me to be consistant was my youth pastor. He had us write out a little "report" that we had to turn in that show how much time we spent with the Lord.

I know that sounds wierd - like I had to do it - but it was really good for me. I got so used to doing it that it became the best thing I do every day.

My dates with Jesus are my favorite part of every day.

Heading to the airport for the "Revolutionary Love" conference!

Hope to hear from you soon,
Lynn

I'd never actually looked at it from that persepective before! Good point, Lynn, when we know how much someone loves us we want to be with them! Thanks for the encouragement!
